A103 Update: TMA08 returned finally!

After waiting four weeks for TMA08 to be returned I finally decided to e-mail my tutor to find out what was happening. Now, with the conferencing software the OU uses you can find out exactly if and when your message has been read. And no sooner was my message read than the TMA was finally returned via the eTMA system. Followed by a rather terse message from my tutor that it was now available for collection. I can only surmise that he forgot to do it in the first place. 30 days from submission to return! Colour me unimpressed!

But it’s back and while I won’t have officially passed the course until the course results come out in December I can now safely say that I have successfully cleared the first hurdle in what might eventually be a BA in English Language and Literature. That’s supposing nothing else comes along to distract me in the meantime;)

Hip Hip hooray!  Many congratulations to you… and may the tutor hide shame-faced in the corner!

English Lit and Lang were always my best subjects at school, tying with art of course… so a bit of envy here.  Well done BF.

Wow.  What a lot of wonderful drawings.  You have a strong hand.  Not sure what that means though.  I esp love the coal bucket, but like them all.  You have caught up well.  congrats on studying for your degree.  And good luck.  I studied literature in college.  English lit (not american).  Enjoyable.

Sorry you had to jump through hoops and wait and wait...not fair.

Happy for you on your way to your Eng. Lit. degree! Bravo. And then what? What’s next?
I majored in English Lit first semester college (second shot at it)...switched to psychology after that. Liked college. Loved grad school. Got to color outside the lines there. No, just kidding, but did get to study more things that interested me. Still love to read and write though. (10 yrs between my BA and my MA)! Better late than never!!!! I say.

“And then what? What’s next?”

Oh, I’m not a planner! I’m doing it for fun, mostly. And as I’m doing it the part-time, distance learning way it’s G O I N G T O T A K E F O R E V E R!
