Art Every Day - Day 12

Oh so many lovely posts, so much to say about them all… but it is LATE and i need my sleep, so i shall return… “I’ll be back”.

Here’s to having the dullest week that ever exisited, and if not dull just happy and safe :-)

P.S. The Andy Warhol thing was me playing with my new iMac - still in live with the thing, sigh!!  :- )

I like this illustration! And it is quite a contrast to the song I’m listening right now: Lullaby from The Cure…

I love the different layers of colour which gives the blue such an interesting texture..

This is fun. What is the medium you used? Watercolor? Reminds me of star light start bright...etc.

Hi Cris.
It’s lots of different things - tinted gesso base, some pearlescent liquid acrylics (including one with the very appropriate name ‘Galactic Blue’), handmade paper, pva, watersoluble pencils, and oil and soft pastels.

I think I left some comments on yr stuff on Flickr.  But like the colors and sentiment.  Did you see the movie “Shine.” Amazing methought.  Take a few deep breaths and do a few forward bends.  Happy Thanksgiving.
