Desktop Meme
I had a very welcome guest to my blog today in the form of illustrator Jackie Morris and she tagged me with this desktop meme.
She said I could choose either digital or physical so I decided to do both:
As you can see, it’s started to get a little bit messy in comparison to last time…
But I prefer to call it a sign of productivity!
And I expect much more messiness to come!
And this is the desktop of my macbook. As you can see I’m not into desktop icons at all. The picture is by an illustrator called PCP. I love his work! Check out his website Hypehopewonderland.
And it’s after 10pm and I still haven’t done my Big Draw for today so I better get cracking!
Would anyone else care to be tagged? It’s always interesting to see other people’s work spaces. Mine is still pretty boring, but in my defense it’s only new:)
Music: ‘Far Away’, Martha Wainwright
Comments:
Brilliant! My computer desktop looked beautiful when it first came to live wit me.
Now it is a mas of icons and jpegs. Maybe I should tidy it up?
Love the two lamps! I have lots of small things on my desk that talk about me when I am not there.
Cat desktop is quite another matter!

I would be deighted to be tagged, though it may take me a day or two to get my ass in gear… :-)
Love the new lived-in look that decorates your desk, as well as your excellent taste in illustrators: thank you for introducing me to Jackie. Wow What talent! I aspire…

Love this artistic clutter. My kind of working situation. ;-) But I kind of work all over. I need to get things organized more. Thanks for the studio peek.

This desk looks so interesting! I would be delighted to be tagged but I don’t know what it means? Is it like a task someone gives to you?
Sorry for being so ignorant..
I’m looking forward to your next drawing, have a nice day,
Andrea

Great work space. So modern and clean looking. Tag me I like to play. But like Andrea, not too sure what it involves? Adding photos of my own work places?

Andrea: “Is it like a task someone gives to you?” That’s exactly it, Andrea! Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to post pictures of your worktable on your blog. Technically with memes (blog speak for tasks) you’re supposed to ‘tag’ other people but I’m a bit shy so mine is more a gentle invitation…
Of course it’s all an excuse for nosiness on my part.
*sigh* no time to post my last couple of drawings as I’ve had a couple of late nights in a row. Hopefully I’ll get time tomorrow.

I like your desktop, it looks tidy but still artistic, I think I need more desktop space on my desk!
I’m liking the Big Draw, I’m going back to Wrexham on Saturday to take part in the Big Draw at my favourite National Trust place, Erddig. It looks very exciting.
I love the quotes you have on your profile too, they’re lovely, I collect quotes especially inspirational or funny ones.
I hope you have a great weekend,
Mary

That quote by Doris Lessing sure speaks to me of late! I will write it down. Draw it. I also like the one about drawing on the ceiling! Fun these.

“I also like the one about drawing on the ceiling!”
That one’s a reflection of my inherently lazy nature;-)
