The Big Draw: Day 2

More thistles!

It’s day two and yes, I’m still drawing thistles. I think it’s going to take a few more drawings to work them out of my system!

Don’t worry about the link thing - you already have me on your sidebar anyway so no need to duplicate it. I liked your first drawing - it was very you. I could see that bag of knitting sitting alongside a comfy armchair in one of your paintings.

Wonderful drawings B.F., very good!  I can’t keep up with all the names on the blogroll - how wonderful that SO MANY are joining in this year!!  I shall try to visit all of them through the month but won’t manage everyone everyday I’m afraid.

I have a new appreciation for Leah and her Creative Every Day challenge. This has proven more work than I anticipated! But it’s great that so many people are giving it a go.

I love thistles. We have wonderful purple ones here. Want to borrow my colored pencils? Yours are great as is!

I really like your thistles.  I like the way they spread onto the other page, those little weeds…

And thank you for doing this work on collecting people and links.

This is exciting.  You never know where this challenge could lead.  I have really been surprised by where my personal painting challenge has taken me.  Not all great drawings, but some thrill me beyond belief.

This is going to be so much fun! Dylan really loves the idea of doing a drawing every day for the challenge, and he’s excited about seeing everyone’s big draws, too. I love your thistles, BF!

wonderful drawings.  Yes, thanks for hosting this.  Wow to everyone playing and esp Dylan.  Hoorah.  I like seeing the real thistles in a jar there before you too, and your drawing tools.
